Ten Things I Have Done That Perhaps You Have Not
Okay, I'm a little slow on this, but here's my take on the The Ten Things Meme.
1) I have stood at the entrance to Hell.
2) I have met two well-known Canadian authors in less than a year.
3) I asked one of these authors if they were interested in participating in NaNoWriMo.
4) I have stood in the original labyrinth (that's Knossos to the non-classical types) not once, but twice.
5) I have been on an active volcano.
6) I have seen a pod of dolphins.
7) I have held in my hands a potsherd that was over 1500 years old and still had the fingerprints of the potter.
8) I have brought a mostly-dead plant back to life.
9) I watched the sun set on the Areopagos in Athens.
10) I have walked in and out of a shooting gallery (and I'm not talking about guns).
