Yesterday, on our way out to run a few errands (like buy gooshy food for the furballs), there was a shiny in the mail box.

This shiny was small-bottle shaped, carefully concealed in sparkly red wrapping and tarted up with curly ribbons. It was even addressed to me.

So, thank you angeliquewisdom for the surprise. It's already in the freezer and will be enjoyed over the next few months.

Happy New Year. You are a wonderful person, and so is your husband. I was sad to see you leave, but I know you had been through much more than I had, and I understand why you could not stay.

I had to go. I should never have gone back. There was just too much wrapped up in that place and I should have avoided it.

Bliss, now that's something I can manage.

i'm so glad it was the right mail box! i had forgotten the address, but remembered where the building was across from. And i had forgotten the apartment number, but i was told it was at the top.
