Well, it has happened at last.

Franklin has finally figured out that the vinyl kitchen floor is cooler than the livingroom carpet. It only took him until the hottest day of the year to put two and two together to come up with five. Silly furry muffin. :)

boozymatic tells me that today Emily stretched out upside-down between her house and the wall opposite, just outside the door to the bedroom, where she was stretched herself in front of the fan, reading. Yes, wind-tunnel effect.
