Even with all the eating, I feel like I've lost weight. I don't know for sure since keeping a scale in the house is terrible for my sense of self-worth, but it feels like it. And you know, that's good enough for me. :D

Goddamn Stupid Cat

So I'm reclining against some pillows on the couch flipping through channels trying to find something halfway decent to watch. Franklin is sitting in the wedge between the pillows and my body until he decides that that isn't good enough. So he jumps to get to the back of the couch.

Or attempts to jump.

Yes, he miscalculated and used my face as a launching pad! I have a long scratch running down the side of my face and neck, but that's only a welt. Above my lip, he tore the skin in a broken line about 4 cm long.

So after cleaning out the wound and washing away the blood with saline, I wiped it with some alcohol, then applied polysporin to some gauze and taped it in place. The tape makes my skin feel weird, itchy and ticklish at the same time, but if I put my hand against it and press in a little bit, the feeling goes away.

Stupid cat. When fuzzpsych's done the dishes, you are so having your claws trimmed.
