If things go according to plan (ie. there's no emergency surgery to bump her to another day or a later time), Shannon will be in surgery at this time tomorrow.
Luck is far too small a word to bear the freight I want it to. I think I'll offer up a wish, instead. I wish that it might go smoothly and without complications, and that your beautiful little girl - and both of you with her - will come through strong and well.
