I have ... been failing at baking lately.

It's somewhat embarrassing to make something (including a recipe that I've made more times in my life than I could possibly count) and have it just...fail. I think the first thing I need to do is get an oven thermometer, to see if my oven is actually the temperature it's SUPPOSED to be at. After that, I can try to adjust other things as I go.

This is rather fucking frustrating. I used to be so good at this. What the fuck happened?

Ugh, I hate it when that happens. I made rice krispie squares the other day, and the chocolate ones just didn't turn out, and I have no idea why. They were fine, but DIFFERENT and nowhere near as tasty as they usually are.

How can you mess up RICE KRISPIE SQUARES??

I've begun turning up my oven 15 degrees higher than called for, and it's made all the difference. My baking/roasting was failing until I did this. I hope you sort out what's going on!
