valkryorMy kid is home sick for the second day in a row. Yesterday, he had a sore throat. Today, he's exhibiting classic COVID-19 cold symptoms. Now, does this mean that I have booked an appointment with regional public health for a COVID test today?

No one can take any chances these days. Does it suck? Hell yes, it does. Are his parents fucking responsible human beings and are fully vaccinated? Hell yes, we are. (And, for the record, we're all getting flu shots when the time comes, too. Because fuck getting the flu; that shit's nasty and ain't no one got time for that.)
So that's part of my morning. I think I will spend some time with my sewing machine today. I have a mighty need to make more masks.
