It's a lovely day for a walk, even with the rain. I have to keep reminding myself that it's not the end of March but still the first half of January. It's hard to find that very convincing with the above normal temperatures, rain and smell of wet earth.

I've done more walking over the past two days than I did all last week and it makes me feel good. I've been in a good headspace the last couple of days and the extra boost is going a long way towards improving my sense of self-worth that's been steadily eroded by being unable to find suitable employment.

I should try to remember this the next time my emotions take a nosedive and instead of grousing about how lousy I feel on LJ, I should get out and walk and let the endorphins kick in.

yes, I think it would be a fabulous idea. I'd never do it alone... but with smart ladies to talk to, I'm all over it!
