So it finally happened.

The furnace died.

It's been on its last legs for years, and I'm surprised that it took this long. Last night, apparently, in an attempt to fix it, it was accidentally set on fire. So now we wait for the furnace guys to install a new one. It's damned chilly in here.

On a positive note, the landlords stopped by with a couple of space heaters. On the flip side of that, we've already blown one fuse.

omg. i *still* have nightmares about that effin' thing. too bad he didn't allow you to set it on fire. that would somehow have been rewarding, don't you think?

just think about how much money he has dumped into that thing. he should have listened to us and just replaced the whole damn thing. stubborn landlord - trix are for crackwhores!

if it gets too cold for the baby, you can come here! i don't have much space, but i don't want you all to freeze.

She's been okay. The upside of this for her is she gets lots of cuddles, since we can't really put her in her bouncy seat since we just can't bundle her enough when she's in it.

Still no furnace, though. Hopefully a new one will be installed tomorrow.

I'm still not holding my breath, though.
