I'm going to take the responses to yesterday's post regarding Primerica under advisement. I'm not discrediting it out of hand, nor am I blindly believing it. I need to do some digging on my own before I come to any decisions. I know it sounds like I'm being stubborn to the point of foolishness, but I'm smarter than that, honest.

My lips are nice and soft. I love this new lip balm.

I think I'm going to switch projects. The pirate novel would be more therapuetic on so many levels, but that also makes it that much more difficult to write. NaNo is about getting something written as opposed to struggling with deeply personal and emotional content. I'm going to have more than enough to deal with this month, so I'll need to find somewhere/something to escape to for a little while. So, yeah, it's going to be to the late Victorian age for some pr0n. And who knows, I might even finish this one.
Yet another traffic accident.

Apparently, an old guy ran a red coming down the hill on Erb and connected with a minivan coming down the hill (heading north) on Weber. It was spectacular, in many ways.

The station wagon the old guy was driving ended up backed against the concrete traffic light post on our side. It's front end was completely crumpled and it took the firefighters some time to pry open the hood enough to turn off the blaring car horn.

The woman driving the minivan swerved to avoid hitting the building (about four years ago, another car hit the chimney and barely missed the gas main). Not only did she clip the traffic light control box (I could hear workers pounding on it for at least 15 minutes, trying to pry it open to make sure that none of the controls were damaged), but she smashed into the side of first floor apartment's car, caving in the driver side door and damaging the side of the fender.

If they had been out and about and not home, our car would have been the one hit. The accident happened 2.5 hours ago. It was probably on the local news already or will be at 11:30 tonight.

I'm getting sick and tired of drivers who don't pay attention to the lights at the corner and drive way too fast. This marks the third time that cars have ended up on the lawn as a result of swerving out of the way. What if we had been walking home or heading out to Tim Horton's to grab a coffee? I don't want to think about that. We just have to move.

You know, you'd think one front end crumpling accident would be enough around here, but no. Another has just happened. At least it's less severe than the one previous, but two in one day is two too many. Crimony.
