(no subject)

I've just had a quick look at the calendar and done some very basic math.

There's 5 weeks left until Pagan Pride. That's 35 days. With the pirate shirts and the skirts, that's 30 garments left to sew. I should have the coat done by tomorrow (it's a much bigger undertaking than I realized. I'm glad, though, that I had the foresight to only make 2), which leaves me 33 days.

I know there will be days that are going to be complete write-offs (like next Saturday, where I have to go to a family reunion I don't want to go to) and there will be others where I manage to get 2 shirts done and a third started. It will balance out, but I'm still feeling the crunch.

Out and about today and my cargo pants tear. Perpendicular to the seam and around the back of my thigh. They're mostly fixable...mostly in that it can be done, but I don't have the right colour of thread and I would feel the reinforcing fabric and it would drive me nuts, so I have to throw them out.

Stupid pants. :(
