The bathroom is turning into a saga.
About ten days ago, the ceiling above the bathtub started to leak. Thank fuck that it was leaking INTO the actual tub and not just beside it. Cue the emergency plumber and the information that A) the upstairs tub liner was cracked and B) a seal had rotted away. The mess was astounding (no pics because holy fuck, was it overwhelming), and now I have a hole in my ceiling above the shower.
Okay. It has been leaking again, but not that much. Enough that I have proof, but not so much that it's an issue.
Cut to today. The super called. They're going to be replacing the pipes in the wall on Thursday. How, you might ask? By going through the wall in the bedroom. The wall which has my kid's bed against it and a craptonne of his stuff under it. That wall.
I kind of want to cry. It's too much and if they think I'm going to get his bed completely out of the way, then they have NO IDEA how little room we have in here. I mean, I can do it, IF I move his dresser, table and chair, and everything else that's along the OTHER wall.
I have no idea where the fuck this stuff is going to go, even temporarily. To say that we have too much in a tiny space is the understatement of the century.
All I wanted was a liner for our tub. That's it. I can't get the tub in its current state to any level of cleanliness that even looks REMOTELY clean. Now I wish I hadn't bothered. :(
