Therapy?

I have a therapy session in about an hour and a half.

Is it wrong to think that I'm not going to get anything out of it? I've only seen this woman 3 times, but I feel like I'm not getting anywhere (or, conversely, how I felt two months ago when I was at my lowest is not how I feel now). I'm still going to keep the appointment, but I'm wondering if I should bother continuing...

I'd have to say that meowster is right, in regards to communicating with your counsellor. Let your therapist know that you aren't satisfied.

I should add, however, that therapy isn't meant to be a quick fix -there is no such thing. If you feel good when you leave a session, then you aren't getting help (aka constructive criticism).

Think of it as tearing away an old, filthy bandage from an infected wound. It going to hurt a lot, and it could also get very messy. It will even sting when you try to clean it. Eventually, it will heal.
