Our car died.

We were going to go out for breakfast and nothing. The car won't turn over. The battery is not the problem since the lights turn on as does the radio. But when the key is turned, you can hear the engine try to start before a horrible clicking noise happens and the internal warning lights flash in succession. I suspect the starter has given up the ghost.

So it's likely we won't be going out tomorrow night and it's also likely we won't be going anywhere for the next little while.

What a way to end the year. :(

We were going to go to epi_lj and okoshun's party tomorrow, with an extra stop along the way to look at possibly picking up a new computer. But as we would have to leave early so that I can get enough sleep before heading into work on Tuesday, it's just easier to plan on not going.
