So, yeah. I'm feeling more than just a little sheepish at the moment.

I called the Triangle Sewing Centre in Guelph about my machine this morning to see about getting it fixed. The person I spoke to asked if I was having tension problems with the foot down and I said that I was.

Yesterday, when I stitched a short seam, there was no tension and the foot was down.

After the call this morning, I lowered the foot on my machine to see the tension discs close...

I called back and said that everything is fine now, but man, do I feel sheepish right now.

Happens to the best of us, at least this is in the inexpensive result :)

Which is also a happy thing. And the store has a toll-free number, so the phone calls didn't cost me a thing, either. :)

Hey - would you be able to do some sewing for me coming shortly? I've got three sets of drapes, and covers for my pantry shelf and bedroom closet door planned, and I'd be most happy to pay you to do the lot, if you'd be willing.

This'd be anytime after my show closes that it's convenient for you. :)

I'm more than willing. And don't worry about the timing. I have a straightjacket that I've been comissioned for, so that needs to come first. :)
