I registered for a Vendor's Permit on June 24. I was told, at the time, that it wouldn't get mailed until the first Friday after July 1, which is one of my semi-annual collection dates. I should have had it by now (as it was two weeks ago!), but I do not.

So I called the Ministry of Revenue and managed to get in touch with a real live human being (they have an IVR, which is incredibly annoying). After a quick explanation, they're going to mail another out to me...hopefully, it will show up in a couple of days and I won't have to call again. :P

OMG how did you know when your collection date was? Did they tell you?? I'm semi-annual too, but I couldn't find ANYWHERE on the website when the dates were. I gave up, assuming they'd mail me a form or something when it was time to send them money. I haven't received anything yet.

(Also, it took a really long time for my actual paper permit to show up, too.)

I was told when my collection dates are, for starters, plus the information is in the envelope of stuff that I got after I registered. :)

If you call the Ministry, I'm sure you can find out which dates are yours.

Man, I looked through that info and I totally didn't see specific dates. Maybe I'll check again. Hopefully I haven't missed it, that would suck.

How often do you have to pay? Semi-yearly? That would imply July 1 and January 1 to me. But if you call, I'm sure they have that info on file.
