What a wicked storm. It was raining so heavily that I could barely see the big trees in the park across the street and the power was in an interesting state of flux. :)
I remember, when we moved in, how odd it was that most of the outlets were the circuit bathroom ones. Tonight, I was grateful. Instead of letting a potentially damaging surge through to my computer and peripherals, the circuit was tripped and stopped it. I'm also pleased that I was smart enough to turn the damn thing off when the power first flickered. I crashed my system that way once; it lost power just as the OS was starting to load and then after that, the OS wouldn't load anymore.
In other, not-weather-related news, I've started doing some sewing. It's only the unbleached cotton bags (since I have scraps from other projects), but it's something.
