valkryorFor the second time, a vehicle has struck the building. Weird.
EDIT: No really, this did happen. A pick-up truck, after being cut off by some boob in a red car, swerved and ended up crashing into both the concrete porch steps and yew out front. The railing was knocked off and the truck was totalled. The driver, however, was not seriously injured, which is damned lucky.
About five years ago, another car (I can only remember it being blue), drove between a lamp post and the hedge on the front lawn and was stopped by the chimney breast (that the landlord had just paid to be repaired not a few weeks previous). The gas main was less than a metre away, but was untouched. Which is really really good because it could have been a lot worse than some scuff marks on concrete and some paint embedded into them.
