The weekend at Sick Kids has been uneventful. Aside from taking Shannon off the epinephrine, they've also cut off the dopamine and are starting to slowly stop the muscle relaxants to see how she tolerates it. If she does, great. If not, she has to go back on them. Her blood oxygen saturation is lower than they would like, but she's maintaining a number that's at least respectable, so they're not worried about that at all.
Tomorrow is the big conference with the cardiologists (both at HSC and the pediatric cardiologists from other nearby hospitals like McMaster) and the ICU doctors that happens every Monday morning. They'll be discussing Shannon (again!) and decide what they're going to do about her right pulmonary artery (which is still crimped more than they would like). We should also be told, either Monday or Tuesday, just how much longer we'll be in Toronto. It will be an estimate, but it will give us an approximate time when we should be back to sleeping in our own beds.
