The heat makes my brain all melty. It's hard to think. And so easy to be randomly violent.

I recently watched a news report that indicated that when it's hot they get many more calls for domestic disputes, assaults and the like.

In addition to the heat melting brains, people are in general grumpier and have a much shorter fuse.

Then when you add in the people who try to relieve the heat with nice cold beer throughout the day things tend to get a bit out of hand.
