We all had our optometrist appointments today. Did you know that without my glasses, I'm considered legally blind? Yay? o.O

My left eye has also changed slightly, so I only need one lens replaced. For that, I'm not even going to bother with a new pair of frames. The ones I have are still functional and it seems silly to get an entire new pair of glasses because of the change of one eye. Oh, and I need new nose pads, too; mine are ... starting to fall apart, which is most inconvenient.

I also got the drops, which I do not like as it fucks up my eyesight for hours and I can't do much until my pupils start working again. I do not enjoy looking like some sort of coked up nutjob until it wears off. It seems to be gone (or going) now, since I have some pupil response, but damn, I do not want.

I have my optometry appointment next week, and am anticipating the drops, too. It's at 1pm, so I'll be booking the rest of the day off work as my eyesight will be fubared for a while after.

I hope the weather's nice, at least, so I can set up the hammock outside and nap. Not much else to do when you CAN'T SEE ANYTHING.

I ended up napping, too. It certainly makes the time go faster, especially when it's nearly impossible to focus.
