valkryorThis morning, I had my first job interview in over twelve years. Thanks to cinnamaldehyde, who sent me the want ad, I fired off an email and, welp, here we are. The job is part time contract, between 8-15 hours a week. That's it.
On the one hand, it's not a lot, and money is still a thing for us right now. BUT, I'm not even sure if I can handle it because my brain is a dick, so on the other, it's not a lot, which could be really good for me. To be completely upfront, I don't want to treat this as a 'starter' job, to launch my reentering the work force, because that's a very shitty thing to do to someone who seemed very genuine.
Still. A job. That I am very close to having. W E I R D.

Date: 2021-11-05 06:27 pm (UTC)I'd ask "how do you think it went?" but in my own experience, how I think an interview went vs. how it actually went are two entirely different things. I've had interviews in which I thought I knocked it out of the park, but then never heard anything further. I've also had interviews that I thought I tanked, but then I got an immediate call back. So who knows? I sure don't!
Anyway. It's a long-winded way of saying "I wish good things for you." :)
