He bought me a crimper and cable tester so I can make Cat5 ethernet cables of whatever length I want.

yeah?? YEAH??! well, let me tell YOU.... I got my crimper and tester, came home, figured out our networking problem, made a straight-thru cable into a cross-over, made a crossover into a straight through (rather than having to re-run cable through the duct work), fixed a subnet mask error and FIXED OUR NETWORK.

FIXED IT I TELL YOU.

ALL BY MYSELF!

it's almost like I learned something in our class. God forbid.
