I HAVE MY APARTMENT BACK.

I even finished cleaning it yesterday. Declan's room has a floor, you guys. I don't remember the last time I saw that much of it. AND I have a work space again, which is fan-fucking-tastic. Soon, my sewing machine will sing the song of its people.

It's amazing (and a little embarrassing...when did I get so boring, holy fuck) just how happy being in my space is making me. My cleaned and back-to-livable space.

Today, outside of meals and general keeping-the-kid-alive, the day is mine to do whatever the fuck I want. I am gonna rest and relax, I think. Maybe a movie in the afternoon (Declan's now the right age to start his journey into the MCU), maybe a nap, maybe staring at the walls and just existing. Doesn't matter today; I have my apartment back.

Oh man, that must feel so good. This is inspiring me to tackle areas of my home that may or may not have a floor (it's been so long since I've seen it, I'm just not sure).

It helped that things went into bags (those massively large IKEA ones) without sorting. It's a lot less daunting to sort the amount of stuff in a bag than in an entire room. :)

And it does feel good. So good, in fact, that my body is continuing to have a stress response of cold-like symptoms, despite being over the actual virus.
